A man walked into a chapel in Visalia, California, asked for the leader of the local church, walked into the bishop’s office and shot the bishop on Sunday at about 12:30 p.m. California time. Police later shot the assailant about a mile away from the chapel. The bishop was a father of six children. The motive for the shooting is unclear at this time. 1. Well done, Connor. I didn’t know pledgie existed until I saw your comment. Thank you for making the donations possible for Bishop Sannar’s family. My prayers go out to his family and the entire LDS community of Visalia. What a tragic loss.
