Apparently BYU got whacked by TCU yesterday. Which of course raises the question: how many Latter-day Saints were praying for a BYU victory before the game? And does Heavenly Father care?

Global cooling update
We’re happy to report that global temperatures have stabilized. In fact, there is significant evidence that some key areas of the globe are getting markedly cooler.
Al Gore should be celebrating. He is not.
Elder Holland’s talk at general conference
With two little children, it’s tough to always watch conference live. But through the afternoon, I have received several e-mails and comments on Elder Holland’s talk at general conference. So, this evening I listened to it, and it is one of the most powerful Church talks I’ve heard. You can listen to it here.
