Amen! My son almost collapsed in his PE class from wearing a mask, which was being held outside. When you approach the school teacher/administrators about that they just repeat all of the covid platitudes, even tough the data is overwhelming that masks really don’t work. If people want to mask, by all means, but I’m so tired of it.

Lattertarian, there is plenty of opposition in my town to masks & the current public health order. But, we have little recourse. This year in New Mexico, the Democrat governor closed all public spaces, including the State Capitol, so one one was allowed to observe or participate in the legislative session. Our school board meetings are still on Zoom as well, and public comments are taken by an email address, which no one checks. The legislature and courts have also ceded their responsibilities to the governor. She’s completely unchecked at this point. It’s been quite disheartening in New Mexico, to say the least. I know Covid is real and serious, but *none* of what we’ve been thru was helpful or helped to prevent people from getting sick. However, I will be working to make sure our Governor is a one term enigma, and that the members of the school board that voted to stay closed will also be unseated.
