Two years ago, President Nelson, the new prophet, gave an important talk on the hot button issue of same-sex attraction and the Church’s policy on the issue.
I would be careful saying that President Nelson is the “new Prophet” until he is sustained as President of the Church by the Quorum of the Twelve. While I really admire the orderly succession that we have had in modern Church history, automatically labeling President Nelson as the New Prophet takes away the role of revelation in the selection of the next Prophet by the Quorum of the Twelve.
