  1. It seems pretty clear that the theme of this conference, based on Elder Uchtdorf’s talk, is service. Especially appropriate now.

  2. I hope everybody heard Elder Burton’s talk. Self-reliance, voluntary action to help the poor. Not forced charity.

  3. Puts my little contributions to the Jordan River Temple as a youth in perspective. Sacrifice has always been associated with temples! Sacrifice: trading one thing of value for something of greater value!

  4. Well, think the youth of today who go to seminary at 6:30 am and church everyy Sunday and do temple baptisms are making some great and worthwhile sacrifices.

  5. Loved Elder Holland’s talk as well. It’s so true that every conference has messages for me and others and I’m always impressed at the next fast and testimony meeting to hear the messages that reached others that were not the same as the messages I was particulary touched by.
