  1. The Saturday AM session was wonderful. If you only have time to listen to one talk, I recommend the comments of President Dallin H. Oaks. He was sufficiently specific to make the righteous in need of repentance uncomfortable. We found it particularly fitting that “Love One Another” was sung following President Oaks’s words.

Call to radically obedient Christianity… 🙂

  2. For the Saturday PM session there were many wonderful addresses. But I confess a preference for the words of Elder Uchtdorf, whose optimism is absolutely infectious. He shared the story of the Saints burying the temple foundation as an Army approached. When the original temple foundation was uncovered, many of the sandstone blocks had cracked. This trial allowed the Saints to see that a stronger foundation was needed. Granite was available, and so the temple was built on that stronger foundation. Likewise he is confident that these trials we are experiencing with COVID will (and already have in some cases) lead to a brighter future with blessings more wonderful than we were able to imagine before.

And the song that followed was “How Firm a Foundation.” Awesome!
