You know you want to join in on the fun!

The FAIR Conference is a mere 2 weeks away (actually slightly less), Thursday and Friday, August 6-7. Click here to register. You can also register at the door, but it’s cheaper to register now online.

I’m particularly looking forward to Daniel Peterson’s presentation, The Temple as a Place of Ascent to God. He’s always a lively speaker. In addition, cosmology fascinates me, so Ron Hellings’ presentation on Joseph Smith and Modern Cosmology calls to me.

If you find yourself within driving distance of Sandy, Utah, I highly recommend you come and check it out.

But if you’re not within driving distance, you can still participate via video streaming! (Registration for that on the same page.) Isn’t technology neat?

About Tanya Spackman

Tanya was born in Provo, Utah, on a warm July day. After escaping childhood with nothing more than a few scrapes and bruises (except for 5 stitches - oh, and that incident with the staple in the thumb), she graduated from BYU with a degree in molecular biology. Before graduation, she served a mission in Chicago. As graduation neared, she decided lab work really wasn't her thing, and she had no interest in research or teaching (but really, molecular biology is interesting), so she decided to attempt the world of technical writing. Thus, she now works as a technical writer/editor for the Navy in Washington, DC. She loves to read and travel.

  1. You’re right, Tanya. I should just throw caution to the wind so I can attend. šŸ˜‰

Actually, I might just have to do that. Where is the nearest Motel 6?!?!? Is Tom Bodett still keeping the light on for me? Btw, I miss hearing his commericals.

  2. Whoa! I just realized that I am actually free those days. The trick, of course, is getting from Seattle to Salt Lake.

Double whoa plus! I just saw that I can get a streaming video feed for 20 bucks. That’s pretty spiffy, though one of the highlights of attending would be the networking.

  3. Ben, I’d known that was planned, but didn’t even see that on the registration page. I’m glad you mentioned it! I’ve added that info to my post.
