This plaque at Notre Dame is missing something

This plaque is at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France. It may be difficult to read, but it is titled, “Appearances of the Risen Christ.” It describes a series of five memorials to the stories in the Bible describing the resurrected Savior. We Mormons know there were at least a few more, and probably many given that Christ had many sheep around the world during the Atonement. My thought upon seeing this was: “if only the world knew about the others appearances.”

About Geoff B.

Geoff B has had three main careers. Some of them have overlapped. After attending Stanford University (class of 1985), he worked in journalism for several years until about 1992, when he took up his second career in telecommunications sales. In 1995, he took up his favorite and third career as father. Soon thereafter, Heavenly Father hit him over the head with a two-by-four (wielded by the Holy Ghost) and he woke up from a long sleep. Since then, he's been learning a lot about the Gospel. He still has a lot to learn. Geoff's held several Church callings: young men's president, high priest group leader, member of the bishopric, stake director of public affairs, media specialist for church public affairs, high councilman. He tries his best in his callings but usually falls short. Geoff has five children and lives in Colorado.

  1. Trouble is the documentation on all the vititations are sparse and debatable as to authenticity. At some point, I’d like to visit the places where Christ visited in England and Japan. The places documented in the Bible are only accepted as tradition, and only by those that believe in the Bible as a source.
