Fascinating story on Church members and Wyoming politics

This story is one of the most interesting articles I’ve seen on Church members and Wyoming politics. The Republican candidate is heavily courting Mormons, who, although they are mostly Republicans, nevertheless include many Democrats. Cynthia Lummis, the Republican candidate is a member of a conservative branch of the Lutherans but once took the discussions and went to Institute. She has been endorsed by Mitt, and many of her campaign volunteers are LDS. Worth a read.

  1. Well, I contributed to Gary Trauner, but it seems like Lummis could hardly be worse than the outgoing representative, Barbara Cubin.

  2. I voted for Trauner also. I could not stand the constant hate attacks that the Lummis campaign engaged in. The final straw came when she portrayed Trauner as the Evil Emperor from Star Wars, or the Grim Reaper. I guess I actually voted against her.
