JA, don’t let distance keep you away. I’m coming all the way from Washington, DC! (Admittedly, my parents are near Sandy and I wanted to visit them this summer anyway, so I figured the first week in August was as good as any time….) But I know what you mean about missing some good stuff by not living near so many LDS-related conferences and whatnot.

Morgan, when you feel ready, you should contact FAIR with a proposal of what you’d like to present. I have no doubt they’d consider it.

Thank you Tanya. My eventual goal is to present there someday since I feel my research is original enough that many will like it. For now I am content with my blog though Thanks for the notes from past years, they are a fun read.

Morgan, condolences on the lack of job. Hopefully next year will be more economically fruitful! (Well, hopefully life will be more economically fruitful for you much sooner than that, but maybe you’ll be able to come next year.)

I would be there, but I got a 100% pay cut that went out the door along with my job. (yes the economy rocks) But I look forward to reading somebody’s online notes.

I wanted to attend last year, but had scheduling conflicts. Any hope of attending this year’s conference went out the door with a 10% cut in pay offered to me by my company (recessions really are wonderful, aren’t they?).

The topics look interesting, so I look forward to reading your write-ups (hint, hint) from the conference.

I’m there! It was at a FAIR Conference a few years ago that I heard Blake Ostler. Becoming acquainted with his thoughts and getting to know him personally has truly blessed my life. There were some questions I never thought I would get answers to in this life, but the answers are out there and I found lots of them through FAIR.
