The further along I get in my spiritual progress, the more I believe that gaining and keeping a testimony is a lot like being at a healthy weight. Here’s the thing. With a few notable exceptions in both directions, I have been at a healthy weight for most of my life. I generally enjoy going to the gym most days, and I don’t struggle too much to eat healthy meals (although I do have my weaknesses. Cheetos for one).
